Seamless automated vehicle chains for PT, DRT and MaaS in Les Mureaux
LOCATION
Arianne group private site, located in the commune of Les Mureaux (Yvelines department) is 234 acres big, with over 50 buildings, 42 pedestrians walk and 16 intersections. Thousands of employees are working daily on site. Private cars, trucks, bicycle and pedestrians are mixed on the roads. The urban environment is very close from a small city.
OVERVIEW
The project Navetty on Arianne group private site is the most challenging project with fully driverless operation ever deployed with EZ10 shuttles. The project is managed and deployed by Transdev along with partners including Arianne group, Easymile, Vedecom with the support of the Yvelines department.
The project aims to demonstrate that fully driverless (= without on-board safety operator) operation is technically feasible with the right level of performance and safety and that autonomous mobility operations in urban area for private site and for 1st mile / Last mile services are relevant.
The service is operated by 2 EZ10 shuttle and will soon be supervised remotely from a control center without on-board safety operator. The service is open for employees, visitors and VIPs. Arianne group wishes to scale up the service if the project is successful.
6,7 km of route are parameterized including 3 different paths in order to adapt the service to the mobility needs depending on hours, days and specific events. The service usually runs from 08:00 AM till 06:30 PM, 5 days a week.
