Commissariat a l energie atomique et aux energies alternatives (CEA)
COMMISSARIAT A L’ENERGIE ATOMIQUE ET AUX ENERGIES ALTERNATIVES (CEA)
CEA-List brings together nearly 1,000 scientists, engineers, and technicians—all experts in smart digital systems. They are committed to developing high-added-value innovations that respond to the major challenges facing our economy and society.
Our R&D programs address the Factory of the Future, digital twins, artificial intelligence, and digital trust. They are backed by innovation and tech transfer mechanisms designed to help our R&D partners stay competitive.
CEA-List is one of three institutes of the CEA (French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission) Technology Research Division. It has sites in the innovation hubs of Paris-Saclay and Grenoble, France.
The DIASI department (Département Intelligence Ambiante et Systèmes Interactifs, fr.) participates in SHOW with activities from Communication System Laboratories that researches into and develops innovative wireless networking technologies for vehicular communications and the Internet of Things (IoT). The laboratory is specialized in IP-based architectures & protocols design, validation and evaluation through software prototyping and trials. The laboratory has more than 15 years of experience in developing advanced mobile networking solutions for V2X communications, and influencing related standards by contributing to the relevant organizations such as the IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force). The laboratory has a solid track record of research collaborations with European automotive stakeholders, and of successful European research projects in particular related to transport such as the EXALTED, Instant Mobility, e-DASH, eCo-FEV, VI-DAS or AUTOPILOT European projects. The AI, Language & Computer-Vision department develops innovative computer-vision technologies to enhance environment perception of autonomous vehicle. The Vision and Training Laboratory is specialized in deep learning neuronal networks and training. The development of data mining and smart annotation tools enable to process huge video database which are required for deep learning detection SW. The Laboratory has more than 15 years of experience in developing innovative computer-vision solutions and has close collaboration with VALEO and other major stakeholders of automotive area. The expert team has strong track record of successful European projects as EBSF2, Cloud LSVA and COOPOL.
