The collaboration between the SHOW project and Cool4, a newly launched R&I programme from Japan, saw a successful kick-off this month. Through an introductory webinar, both consortia presented their projects and exchanged on how the collaboration can further advance the work in automated mobility.
The hot topics SHOW and Cool4 will collaborate on are Automated Vehicle behaviour (e.g. at intersections), regulatory frameworks, and stakeholders’ perception and acceptance.
CooL4 is an ambitious R&I programme that recently started in Japan, funded by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT). Similarly to SHOW, it aims at developing Cooperative Level 4 Automated Mobility Service in mixed traffic environment.
The SHOW community is very much looking forward to this collaboration and to the insights that we will be able to exchange towards road automation!
