ITS Europe Congress is around the corner, and SHOW will be actively participating in this first-line forum for sustainable and smart mobility. From May 30 to June 1, the project partners will hold several intersessions and participate in different activities to showcase SHOW’s latest achievements.
Under the theme ‘Smart and Sustainable Mobility for All’, the ITS European Congress seeks in its 14th edition to bring together top-level entities, presentations, demonstrations and state-of-the-art exhibitions. SHOW will be present in Toulouse as a benchmark for CCAM. Project partners will participate in several activities to present the latest advances of the project and generate synergies to ensure its sustainability.
Special intersessions, discussing the future of mobility
Various intersessions will feature SHOW partners. SIS 9 5G technologies for verticals gather several EU projects, including SHOW, as ongoing cases for the correct use of data and the implementation of technologies such as 5G, IoT, data analytics and CCAM for smart mobility. SIS 16 Preparing the infrastructure for Autonomous Mobility examines digitization and innovative technologies as leading features in the shift toward Automated Mobility, improving the user’s experience. SHOW partners from the International Road Federation (IRF) will host the session to discuss the main challenges to be addressed for adapting to this new mobility approach, focusing on the digital and physical infrastructure. Attendees will have the opportunity to share their thoughts. SIS 23 Memo for demo: H2020 demonstrating automated transport presents three EU game-changer projects on the path to automation: SHOW, HARMONY and AWARD. The session will present each project’s progress and favour the creation of synergies to ensure maximum effectiveness in the deployment of their actions. Our partners from EMT CIO will participate in the SIS 26 Making multimodal mobility a reality introducing SHOW as a success case. SIS 38 AV demonstrators – sharing experiences over the continents analyses the viability of Automated Vehicles (AVs). SHOW will present its latest demo sites deployed, as a benchmark project for urban CCAV at the European level. The session will also feature international speakers from Europe, Japan and the United States. Last but not least, our partners from Sitowise will be moderating SIS 58 Streets back to people via slow-moving automated vehicles. Together with Sensible 4, they will cover the feasibility of the pilots developed by SHOW and their readiness for commercialization.
Further activities
To complement the intersessions, SHOW partners Swarco, LINKS and ERTICO will present the report ‘TM2.0 evolution towards multimodality’, which contains the outcomes of the project-pilot deployment in Turin. ERTICO will also have a booth where attendees will be able to interact in the light box dedicated to the project, allowing them to learn about its key aspects interactively.
